About GRUNDIG

German quality since 1945

Grundig was founded in 1945 by Max Grundig in Germany, pioneering innovations in broadcast and in-car entertainment systems that redefined industry standards. In 2003, Delphi Technologies – formerly affiliated with General Motors – strategically acquired Grundig's automotive electronics division, accelerating our technological integration and market expansion across North America through Delphi's established distribution networks.

Today, German corporation THS holds full ownership of the Grundig Auto brand, continuing its 80-year legacy of German engineering excellence while integrating American automotive methodologies inherited from the Delphi era. As a global mobility solutions provider, Grundig Auto now delivers comprehensive automotive components spanning lighting systems, premium audio/entertainment units, and precision mechanical parts, with manufacturing and distribution networks extending from Europe to worldwide markets.
