The Highland's on-screen selector works, but it asks for your eyes at the exact moment you're maneuvering.

Installing the Highland gear shift stalk
About an hour, with no cutting or drilling. Professional installation is recommended.
- Power the car off before touching any connector.
- Remove the steering-column trim with a plastic pry tool so nothing gets scratched.
- Plug the harness into the factory connectors until each one clicks fully home.
- Route the cables clear of the steering column and pedals, then refit the trim.
- Test R, D and P with the car stationary before your first drive.
An installation video is provided after you order. Unplug the harness at any time to return the column to stock.

Model 3 Highland Gear Shift Stalk FAQ
Does the gear shift stalk fit the 2024 Model 3 Highland?
No. This stalk is built for the 2025-and-newer Model 3 Highland and does not fit 2024 Highland cars. Check your model year on the vehicle registration or in the car's Software menu before ordering.
Does the stalk control turn signals or wipers?
No. It handles gear selection only: push up for Reverse, push down for Drive and press the end button for Park. Turn signals stay on the steering-wheel buttons.
Can I still use the touchscreen shifter?
Yes. The on-screen drive selector stays active alongside the stalk, so you can use either one.
Do I need to cut wires to install it?
No. The harness plugs into factory connectors with no cutting, splicing or drilling, and unplugging it returns the column to stock. Installation takes about an hour; professional installation is recommended.
Does it work on right-hand drive cars?
Yes. The stalk supports both left-hand and right-hand drive Model 3 Highland cars and mounts on the right side of the steering column.
