Left-Hand or Right-Hand — Which One Is Yours?
Order the version that matches your door. If you are unsure, check which side of the door your current lock sits on. Stand outside, face your door:
- Hinges on the LEFT → door swings left → choose Left-Hand (LH)
- Hinges on the RIGHT → door swings right → choose Right-Hand (RH)
* Tip: Look at where the hinges are — that tells you the door direction directly.

Battery & Maintenance
Requires 4× AA batteries (not included). Have them ready before installation. Battery life is around 3–4 months with normal use; we recommend replacing the batteries every 3 months for reliable operation. If you will not be using the remote or keypad for a long time, disconnect the power cable, remove the batteries, and slide the switch on the battery holder to the OFF position.
FAQ
What if I forget my password?
Use the code reset button on the battery holder to restore the factory code (1234). See "Installation & Setup → Step 4" above for details.
How do I know which door version to order?
Stand outside facing your door. If the lock mounts on the left side of the door, it is a right-hand (RH) door; if it mounts on the right side, it is a left-hand (LH) door. Order the matching version.
What happens when the batteries die?
The mechanical backup key always works, even with dead batteries, so you can still get in. Keep the key with you as a fallback on trips.
How far does the remote work?
The remote operates within 15 m (49 ft) of the lock.
